ARTISAN: Kara Pendl is the designer, artist and creative director behind Karacotta Ceramics, based in Austin, TX. Each piece is handmade on the wheel to achieve a simple, modern, organic aesthetic, with no two pieces exactly the same. They believe in craftsmanship and do not cut corners for production-sake. They locally curate the tools, clay-bodies, and glazes from the best of the best, or they make them from scratch.
